Parastoo Ganjei
“My work is shaped by emotion and imagination. Consciousness and feelings give life to each painting”
Parastoo’s richly evocative landscapes and elegant still life pieces are highly expressive and charged with feeling. Every painting features her loose, bold brushstrokes that radiate confidence and energy. There is always clarity of vision and mastery of the medium in her work. The granddaughter of a celebrated Iranian artist, Parastoo has drawn much inspiration from her childhood memories of time spent in his studio, watching him create.
Born in Iran, Parastoo studied graphic design there, before moving to the UK in 1977. She continued her studies – in Graphics and Animation – at Croydon and Bournemouth Art Colleges before settling in Wiltshire.
