Clifton Contemporary Art is a well-established gallery in the heart of Clifton Village, Bristol.

We show a range of the very best painting, sculpture, ceramics, original print work and jewellery, with a strong emphasis on West Country and Bristol artists.

Essentially Clifton Contemporary Art is shaped by our determination to represent a carefully selected group of talented creative people, providing an intimate space and an evocative location for their work. This, together with a personal, knowledgeable and non-salesy approach to every customer helps create our unique personality.

Co-Directors Sarah and Nick Brown both grew up in Bristol, and share a lifelong love of the arts. Sarah is a successful landscape painter who gained her degree at Bath Academy of Art, and she has spent many years managing galleries and curating exhibitions. Nick is a professional copywriter who studied the history of art and humanities at the University of the West of England. Both have a wealth of experience in helping people choose the right pieces – an instinct and innate understanding of what works and why.

When it comes to getting your chosen artwork safely and appropriately installed, we can arrange delivery by a trusted specialist courier and will provide advice on hanging and positioning too. For us, the whole point is putting you and the art you love together without fuss, pressure or hassle.
